MALIHA'S STORY

Maliha lives with her mum, her dad, and her little brother. Her little brother has a disability, so sometimes he needs extra help. Maliha is very kind and caring. She helps him with his toys, reads him stories, and makes sure he feels happy and safe. She loves her brother very much.

Maliha really likes computers. She knows how to use them carefully and safely. She always says, “I’ll teach you how to use technology safely!” She reminds everyone not to share personal information and to ask a grown-up if they are unsure. Maliha feels proud when she helps others learn.

She is very curious and asks lots of questions. “Why does that happen?” “How does this work?” She asks ‘why’ and ‘how’ questions all the time because she loves learning new things. Her teachers smile because Maliha is always thinking.

When Maliha plays outside, she enjoys football & tennis, and loves going to the sports centre to play Badminton. She’s hopes to take her brother there one day as it’s the birth place of the Paralympics. It’s called Stoke Mandeville Stadium. Playing sports makes her feel strong and confident and keeps her fit to care for her brother.

At home, Maliha also loves dancing and singing. She turns up the music and twirls around the living room while her brother claps and giggles. Sometimes she makes up silly songs to make him laugh.

When Maliha is on the computer she likes watching science experiments, her dream is to be a scientist.”

Her parents are so proud. They know that with her big heart, curious mind, and love of learning, Maliha is already on her way to living her dream.
